Family Friendly Cozy Mystery

Number 3 in the series ut a great stand alone book. It has believable characters that are interesting. Narration is great as it keeps your interest till the end of the book. Clarisse the owner of the dier is murdered. She is stabbed to death. There are strange things happening in town. You havemen in black suits having private, large meetings, high schoolers wanting to sleep in what has been called a haunted house. Sabrina amateur sleuth with her boyfriend Detective David interviews to try and solve the murders. There are many twists and turns , many without alibis. This is a light clean story, with no gore, sex or foul language. you won't guess till the end who did it.

Fun, quick story. Enjoy the personal side as well.

This was another interesting peek into Sabrina's life. I enjoyed the way she worked through the mystery, and I loved watching her personal side as she moved through life. Having listened to other books further along in this series, it always feels like a glimpse in the past. This was a quick story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lisa Beacom did a wonderful job with the narration, bringing the characters alive for me.

I received this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

Quick and fun

Here we get resolution about the mystery of the lights in Watersport's place, but the one about the secret society? That one only thickens. And there aren't new leads on Sabrina's sister, which is a shame :(

Sabrina and her police boyfriend investigate yet another murder in the once peaceful town, and I'm wondering: is that secret society somehow related to this escalate on violence? I guess we'll have to wait until the next book (at least!) to know.

A quick, light read that will please those who love clean cosy mysteries.

Love this one, best one so far!!!!

Any book by Potts makes my day. I just can't wait to curl up with a huge mug of cocoa and my book and read, read, read. You just slip right into the world, characters are like your best friends and truly makes you feel good when you're done. Thanks again for the amazing book, I was an ARC reader.

Apple Pie With a Side of Murder

Sabrina Daley is at it again. When she and her boyfriend witness an argument of a local restaurant owner the night before her murder. And yet again all the strange little happenings in town have a side investigation going. It was fun and kind of innocent the big reveal on the light mystery from the big mansion. I'm excited for the other small mysteries to be revealed. This is a fun and light series. Nice job on the narration.

WOW!

APPLE PIE with a SIDE of MURDER is the third book in the Daley Buzz Cozy Mysteries. While each will probably stand on its own, it’s probably best to read each in the order of release.

Wow! The mystery behind the lights in the old Waterstones Estate has been solved. It’s sad, but believable and relevant. Still we don’t know what happened to Sabrina’s sister or the mystery behind the invite-only, men-only meetings at the old banquet hall.

I loved the list of suspects and the possibilities of why each could be the villain.

This is a quick and light, easy to read cozy mystery.

Narration: Lisa Beacom continues to read this series with her pleasant voice, though I continue to want to find the button to slow her down. Take a breath! It’s okay if it’s four hours instead of three and a half. I have started listening at work instead of in the car because it makes me nervous to listen to the speed chattering when I’m driving.

Note: while I was given this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Would make a great movie

I enjoyed this audiobook. It was just the right length. It jumped right into the action and didn’t let go. However, I really despised the woman who was murdered, which might be a good thing since she was killed lol. She was so whiny and just seemed selfish. But it’s no wonder, her daughter was worse than her. So grouchy. I liked the other characters.

The narrator was good. I didn’t like the voice for the daughter but I think it was mainly the character. I will still listen to the other audiobooks though.

Apple Pie Cozy

Apple Pie With a Side of Murder
Daley Buzz Cozy Mystery, Volume 3
By: Meredith Potts

The Home Away From Home restaurant had a verbal fight while they were eating. The owner and an employee were arguing over theft. The employee left through the dining room telling the customers their food was tampered with.

In this volume Sabrina and David run across another secret society meeting that was breaking up. They were able to get pictures of about half the license plates. They

seemed to belong to some of the most high powered men in town.

The mysterious lights are back on in the mansion where murder suicide happened twenty years before. David arrested a teenage boy for trespassing, after the kid told

him it was a challenge to spend the night in a haunted house.

The following day a murder victim is found. Suspects include former employee, husband, other employees, daughter, or a secret boyfriend. Sabrina and David work the clues to find the killer.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Lisa Beacom did great job.
