Khaos is coming!

The fate of every living thing in the multiverse that has ever existed or is going to exist rests in the hands of a band of, well, weirdos, if I am honest, but they are our only hope. Our reality and every possible reality are under attack from an evil force called Khaos that has sent apocalypse after apocalypse at every reality around the planet Earth. Not every version of Earth fell; a mighty few stopped the apocalypse sent by Khaos. These few are all that stand in the way of Khaos...these warriors, these heroes, these Apocalypse Blockers!

T
his was an awesome read. I really loved the narration, and the music, plus it has great sound effects. Really outstanding job done by the narrator and the writer. It was like a nice audio movie.

Simon Carr writes another fun story.

As usaul, Simon Carr does an amazing job with his stories. The differing characters and heroes are fun and the story and plot work together to give us a wonderful story. Audio Version: Hailim Dixon does a great job with this hilarious tale.

Another winner from Simon Carr

After having read and/or listened to several of Simon Carr's novels, I can say that they are on another level. The humor and wit he uses are absolutely next-level. In Apocalypse Blockers, Khaos is trying to destroy every iteration of Earth in every reality. And while Khaos is successful in many realities, there are several which are not. In those realities are various warriors - maybe, I hesitate to call them heroes - who take it upon themselves to try and stop Khaos.

One thing I have found about many of Simon Carr's books is that you get even more out of the book the second time through, as there are some things that just don't make sense the first time through. The great thing about his books, though, is that they are good enough that you WANT to read/listen to them again.

This audiobook is narrated by Halim Dixon and though he is not my favorite among those who have narrated Carr's novels, he still did a pretty good job. His voice has that gravelly edge to it that is perfect for this kind of novel.

Unusual Sci-Fi Fantasy

There were many situations and characters that I liked in this creative tale by Simon Carr. There were some amusing moments; however, some of those instances were either ribald or dealing with body functions. Halim Dixon's narration was awesome, and I was very entertained by all the different voices he performed in this tale. I did not like all the extemporaneous sounds, unexpected noises, and orchestral music that was provided along with the narration as it was a huge distraction. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
