A good series start

A nice beginning to this series. Very steamy story, and you get a good sense of the characters as well as introductions to characters that are important to future parts of the series. This particular story felt a bit rushed plot-wise, with a stronger focus on the bedroom scenes. But having gone through the rest of the series, this balances more in future books. Definitely good for a sexy escape, and be sure to go through the rest of the series as the characters and world are very interesting and fun!

I totally need me a bear mate.... how friggin cool

This audiobook ended up being really great. PNR and Urban fantasy type books have always been one of my favorite genres. And this is not the first book I've read by Selena Scott. So I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. And I was so excited to start this series. I was definitely not let down. This was a fabulous story line. I love Ruby and her bad attitude. I have been told I have a similarly crappy attitude so I definitely could relate to her. I wasn't so sure about Ansel, but he totally ended up growing on me by the end. Especially with all that MINE stuff. So darn sexy. I totally wish my hubby was a bear. Keep up the amazing job Selena. You are a Rock Star!

Great Start to the Series!

This is the first book in the Shifter Fever Series. This is a sweet and sexy paranormal romance. The world building is great, with an interesting storyline. Craig A Hart did a great job with the narration.

Simply Fabulous!!

I must admit, I listened to these out of order - but I think the anticipation made this one all the better. Multiple worlds, shifters in danger, and a wonderful romance. All ingredients of a great story - and even better audio.

Fun and exciting start to a new series.

Ruby has been taking care of her little brother alone for the last 9 years. Their parents went missing when he was 9 and she was 19. They live a pretty normal life and stick close to each other. When he goes through a strange glowing portal in the falls close to their home, she is devastated. A bear shifter, Ansel Keto, is attracted to her to the point of distraction. He and his siblings offer to help her look for her brother. This is the first book and ends on a small cliffhanger, but we know the characters and what the main purpose is going to be. Along the way, love and commitment follow. I am geared up for the next book now.
