I liked it

I listen and read tons of books. I’m tired of the same old drug related, death crap and looking for more close to reality and relationship type stories! This was one!

Narration was bad!

although I enjoyed the story, the narration was bad! too many pauses for no reason.

I couldn't finish it...

The story is VERY slow and the narrators need work... they read slow, which isn't much of a problem since you can speed it up, but they also take ackward pauses, which messes with the flow of the book.

Vet the Narrators folks.

I don't want to be so critical, but I truly had a hard time listening to this book. The ENTIRE reason we buy books from Audible is because we have to listen to them - I am visually impaired. The voices in this book caused me great issue.

Much like others stated - there were these awkward pauses. Even more annoying than the pauses was the breathy voice for Tyrel - he sounded illiterate. I would have suggested a male to play the voices of the men - even if they didn't want to hire 3, get at least one to do all the voices.

The story itself was okay. I could relate to the characters to some degree but that Yvette is an idiot. She is supposed to have sense but she whines alot. I just wanted to jump through the audio and chop her in her throat for some of the things she said and did.

I will probably read one more book by the author because like I said, I could relate to the characters, but I will do my best to avoid these narrators at all cost.

It’s ok

I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it. Narration was good. I like the use of 3 different narrators.
The story line was cool. I just wasn’t wowed by it

A Good Read

This was the first book I've ever read/listened to from Daaimah Poole. I will say it kept me listening and laughing throughout. I am from Philly so many of the landmarks mentioned instantly gave me a real visual. I could relate to something with each of the sisters and it brought out emotions I felt going through those same difficulties. I will suggest you pick this book up, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent stories...so real. BRAVO!

This is the love Journey of three very different sisters! However each one of the sisters are challenged greatly when it comes to their love life. The Turner sisters experience real life situations and they deal with them like real people. they each learn valuable lessons about life in the end. I highly recommend this book.
