Excellent story telling

A wonderful story of two sisters, who make a difference during World War II during the German occupation. The narrator is so important When listening to an audible book, and this one was superior. The narrator brought the whole story to life, and I could hear it through her voice. Highly recommend this book to everyone.

One to be remembered

I am always looking for books with female protagonists who exude confidence, courage and kindness. Angels of the Resistance will be a book I introduce to my daughters. Thank you for writing it.

The story kept me wanting to listen even longer even though I didn’t care for the narrator.

Research and authenticity

This story is engaging but contained language & circumstances that weren't 1940-45. Some voices annoying.

I really enjoyed the book overall. The narrator was great and the story sucked you in and kept you interested.

Courage Like I've Never Seen

This story, though difficult to listen to at times, was a story that I couldn't STOP listening to. The narrator was perfect for the sister who was telling the story. I learned things about the German occupation in the Netherlands that I had no knowledge of, prior to reading this story. I recommend Angels of the Resistance to anyone who likes history, and enjoys a book based on fact, where the specific characters were fictional. The courage of these young sisters was unbelievable and awe inspiring. I rated this book a 5 in all areas.

Beautiful story

I had never heard of or studied the Dutch suffering at the hands of the Germans, and did not know they were occupied during the war. This was a great story of two brave young girls who worked courageously with the Resistance to help defeat the fascists. Although fiction, the story was based on the lives of two real Dutch girls.

Angels of the Resistance

I truly enjoyed this book! As I got into the book , the characters Camden’s life. However it was not just the characters but also the setting or the cities and countryside. I was fascinated by how the resistance was set up , the training as well as their missions. Great read!

Awesome Author. So believable!!

I’ve listened to both of her books. They are both awesome. Can’t wait for more. This makes 6 books of women engaged in WW II. & I’m devouring them. Hers were the best,!!
