While outright mimicry is obviously out of the question, you can certainly seek to mirror the communication styles of the people you're engaging with, in order to help you establish rapport and common ground. Suppose someone looks at you for just a couple of seconds before looking down, or goes past you and then looks back at you. This nonverbal style tells you something important about the person you're engaging - sustained eye contact is undesirable.

Great Self-Help Book - Recommend for Content
This was a fun and interesting self-help book that allows you to really get down and dirty with the Myers-Briggs personality types so you can better understand both yourself and those around you.
The authors' content was terrific and I would enjoy sitting down and reading this book and even owning a hard copy for future reference. My one issue with this book is that the recording had a tinny quality that didn't do the content of the book 100% justice. However, the narrator's reading ability and enthusiasm were great, so it's not that she was lacking talent - Anneliese Rennie did an admirable job and I would listen to more by her. It's possible that the studio she was in wasn't the best.
But it doesn't take away from the excellent content of the book and all that you can learn from it. Highly recommended for learning more about people. I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Most Interesting Topic to Discover
What made the experience of listening to Analyze People the most enjoyable?
How to Analyze People by both Nathan Newman and Sarah Faulkner is a fascinating read. Although, I would really recommend it for those who have taken either or both classes in Psychology and Sociology. Because, these classes would make the topic presented easier to relate to as well as to understand. Both writers, have taken a deep dive into the hearts of both core subjects. I found that interesting. Everything in life is connected. Major themes inside were about the human personality, personality diversity, and personality analysis. These are the factor to help readers analyze things such as human behavior, humanity, and human nature. From there we can explore and understand peoples body language. This is crucial in helping us learn the different types of human interactions. By learning all of this, we can easily sense, judge, feel, think and perceive things from others. These skills would especially help for those of us who work in environments that has a lot of human interaction. Communication is key to success. If we can analyze people correctly our ways of communication would come out better thus, improving our personal growth. Overall, I really liked this nonfiction book. It was a great guide, and I recommend it to others.
What about Anneliese Rennie’s performance did you like?
How to Analyze People is narrated by Annelies Rennie. She was the perfect narrator for this kind of audio book. It felt more enriching when listening to her voice. Clear, well-spoken, and engaging. It made the book topic stick out in a good way. Annelise Rennie's tone of voice is one, that I would recommend for educational and other nonfiction reads. She just has that voice that suits the topics well. Educational and interesting.

Practical observations
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher but this review is unbiased. Analyze People started off in as a fact filled treatise, ( a written work dealing formally and systematically with a subject [google definition] ) but ended with some practical directions concerning not only the subject of How to Analyze People but also how to analyze your self. The bright spot was the narration. Anneliese Rennie delivered a lively and interesting story that kept me listening from start to finish. I felt the whole time that she was talking to me not at me. Good job all around

Bad title, good content!
Bad title! The title to me seemed to indicate some unique gift or paranormalish ability to read the motivation and intent of someone else. But, the real takeaway from this book is its explanation of the personality types as derived from the Meyers Briggs personality test and some good explanation as to how that information can be understood in real world interpretations of other people. So if you're a team builder at your place of employment, or you are trying to make sense of a relationship or it's potential, then this book is for you!

Some useful tips
There is some useful information in this book but some things to know upfront. First is that the first half of the book is spent on reading through the 16 personality archetypes of the myers -Briggs test straight. Which if you don't know them is helpful but just wasn't what I expected. Secondly there are some definite audio quality problem areas that can be distracting . I find it best for the buyer to be aware of the issues before purchase and they are obvious. There is a lot of good information in this book I would recommend but just go in aware of these things.

Would you try another book from Nathan Newman and Sarah Faulkner and/or Anneliese Rennie?
Yes, I would hopefully the sound will be better
Has Analyze People turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, the book gave an good outlook in this genre.
How could the performance have been better?
A.R. narration was good , but the the recording sounded like it was recorded in a tin can.

I learned how to identify personality types
Would you consider the audio edition of Analyze People to be better than the print version?
I had taken the Myres-Briggs test a couple of times in the workplace before getting the book and the book provided a lot of useful insight. This would serve as a good introduction to the theory of personality analysis and a good reference for anyone interested.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Analyze People?
The way the types are broken down is different than the typical way, makes it a lot more accessible.
Which scene was your favorite?
The narrator is very engaging.

Story
Most people only ever rely on their conventional intelligence (IQ) to get them through life, or worse, believe it to be the best indicator for success. For years this was thought to be the case, that IQ was the most accurate predictor of a person's potential, whether it's getting a leg up in your career or simply building better relationships in business/family life. However that is no longer the case. It's now commonly known that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) has the biggest impact here.

The Code of Trust has since elevated executives to leadership and changed the culture of entire companies, making them happier and more productive as morale soared.
