Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The reader did an excellent job of bringing Hounchell's characters to life.

A thoroughly zany romp through the underworld!

I loved this! It was quite a trip from beginning to end. The joining of modern day life with magic was done so well it felt natural to have it there. I found myself laughing at points through each chapter. The twists were hidden so well that I didn’t see them coming until they smacked me in the face and then they were obvious in hindsight. The action scenes flow almost cinematically and I found myself cheering on the heroes as they went on their merry way. I’ve already recommended this to family and plan on doing so to others as well.

Mr. Howell did a great job in narrating as well. The way he did characters voices never left me wondering who was speaking. He portrayed the emotion and tone of the story well in my opinion. Well done sir!

An entertaining and easy listen

This was a fun quirky tale that went by quickly - I finished it in one sitting. It had twists and turns that you could never see coming and characters that win you over from the first time they are introduced. The narration was excellent and the performance really took the story to a new level.
