fresh approach and quite resonating

I really liked how this book reframed traditional Bible stories for adult listeners. It didn’t feel overly academic, just honest and reflective. Some insights made me think deeper about faith and how it fits into my daily life. If you grew up with Bible stories but haven’t engaged with them in a while, this is a solid re-entry point.

More Than Just Bible Stories

Going in, I didn’t know what to expect, but after listening a bit, I was pleasantly surprised! The author doesn’t just narrate passages from the bible, but rather tells the stories-and explains the lessons therein- that we all might remember from church and how to apply those lessons to our lives today. From Moses on Mt Siani and The The Golden Calf, and Moses leading his people out of Egypt to Job’s troubles and the apostles’ revelations on Pentecost, the author makes the stories real and applicable to our lives today. Great for everyday devotions.
