What??

Terrible story of simply nothing. A disappointing
read and a waste of time. Don't bother.

Short story hidden gem

WOW, surprisingly emotionally packed short story with a subtle hint of darkness. it was a simple concept but executed perfectly by both author and performer. The story is strong in the interactions of the characters and it shows how small events can have an impact on lives and last a lifetime. Beautifully written and performed, it is just one story of these characters but I wanted more. Hopefully there will be future installments. This is the type of story that keeps you thinking after you are finished.

Is that all?

Short story..no ending. The characters were developed, the story line established and then it is over. Not a great read.

Interesting twist ending that guys won't like.

Good character development along with insight about Chinese life and how they view us in America.

Our world is very small

A short story that makes you stop and think just what our words meant to others.

BUT...........

Okay y'all----

GRANTED this was a free title-----but I honestly expected a little more. I thought it was well written, the narrator was narratorie --ish but the ending !!! I have two words

let

down.

In no way was the ending poetic or cathartic It instead leaves me wanting more but not in a good way. I won't EVER read another by her.

I can see that happening

Makes me wonder if Fain really was there or if she was just an alter ego. Either way, as a hopeless romantic the story ended wrong for me

American santa

This audio book was ok. I really didn't enjoy it much, but I tried. I think it was because I didn't care about the characters.
