Great Narrator - OK Love Story

Ali Ahn did an amazing job on this series. She really brought it to life. Story wise I was left feeling a little unsatisfied. It's hard to root for the couple when they keep breaking up. Truthfully, I'm not sure they're a good match. Lara Jean is too indecisive and Peter deserves better - but they are teenagers so that kind of drama is realistic. Overall, I liked the book and the cast. Was engaged the entire time.

Fun story

I enjoyed all three of the Lara Jean stories. They are fun reminders of first loves.

Different narrator was disappointing

Lauren Knight-Keating was the narrator of this one - the audible description is wrong. Different from the first two books, her voice significantly changed the characters, making them sound like 5 year olds. I almost had to stop listening because she made Lara-Jean sound so incredibly childish. It’s bad enough the author chose to have teen girls over the age of 17 calling their parents “mommy” and “daddy” and then talking about having sex in the very next sentence but hearing it in the little girl voice made it even more disturbing. All 3 stories were good but I hope girls today don’t actually follow boys around like lost puppies, excusing any/all terrible behavior. That was hard to listen to at times - have some self respect girls!! Don’t be a doormat!! Drinking half a cocktail shouldn’t make you throw up for 24 hrs straight either - I don’t care how much of a lightweight you are. Very exaggerated unrealistic situations. That said, the series was worth a listen overall and I can see why teen girls are drawn to these books.

I've listened to all 3 and they are so cute. I'm like 28 and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

This book is so amazing, the entire book series made me go crazy and I never knew what was going to happen and of course now I’m going to listen to the entire book series again

Loved the voice and how the book is free to listen. Really recommend for more listeners like me.

Love Love Love

All I can say is that I finished the whole audiobook series in four days (that should be enough reason to start this immediately)

Everyone should have a Peter (John Ambrose or Josh)

This book, like the second, wasn’t as unique as Book 1. But it still kept me avidly listening. Like the second, it suffered from some of the “drama.” But it felt less forced than the second. One criticism, which is really more a criticism of the genre, is the romantic interest/Peter just seems so unreal/perfect that I end up disliking the protagonist, who seems selfish and self-centered by comparison. I find that problem often fixed when the point of view is omniscient. Realistically, we’re all selfish, so if we’re privy to only one point of view, that person will seem most selfish. But still I cried, more than I have in a long time, at points. And heck, the world could do with a few more Peters, John Ambroses, and Joshes, Kitties, Dr. Coveys, Ms. Rothchilds, Ravis - and so many of these other delightful characters. Then all we’d have to do is Decide.

Loved this series. I didn't notice a change in narrators like a few others mentioned. She sounded the same and did a great job! This book dragged a teeny bit for me at first but it picked up and I really enjoyed it! Now I need to watch the movies
