Friends trying to reconnect. Loved the narrators.

Friends forever, could they be more? Fernando and Brianna were each other's support. Life and past issues slowly pushed them apart. Brianna was loyal to her family obligations. She was strong enough to move in a direction more of her choosing. Fernando let a fear of who he really was almost cost him everything. When he finally realized what was most important to him, he went for it with some patience but a lot of love. I enjoyed this story.

The audiobook was just as good as the book. Gregory Salinas and Grace Grant did justice to this interesting friends-to-lovers tale. They were a pleasure to listen to.

Beautiful Story

I loved this story when it first released but listening to the audio was better. When Gregory Salinas speaks in Spanish with his sexy baritone as Nando I immediately get chills everywhere. Grace Grant is the perfect Brie. I loved it!

Decent story but short. The plot line is cute and the relationship unfolds slowly, but it was missing the details that fill out the emotion of a full story.

Loved this Friends to Lovers Romance!

This friends to lovers romance captured my heart right from the beginning and never let go. Fernando (Nando) Cantù and Brianna (Bri) Connolly’s love story is an emotional, witty, and steamy rollercoaster ride that owned my heart. Nando and Bri meet in college when he was hired to help her acclimate safely in NY. They connected instantly and became best friends. Through the years they were each other's 'person', always there, and supporting each other. Bri lost her mom at a young age and her father never got over it. She holds herself back to protect her heart when everyone eventually leaves. Nando has his own secret that keeps him from commitments, fearing he will be abandoned as well. When Nando had to move to Luna Harbor to help revive the community, he needed his best friend by his side. He realized he has always loved her and he must win her over before he loses her forever.
I loved the complexity of Bri and Nando's relationship. It was so beautiful, tender, steamy, and organic. I loved how close they were with his brother's and band mates including Langdon who are all fun and essential in their lives, helping them see what is right in front of them. Burgoa writes such beautiful, and genuine stories, with diverse and alluring characters that feel so real and authentic, I can't help getting happily lost in her words.
Gregory Salinas, Grace Grant were perfectly cast as Nando and Bri. They skillfully made these characters so clear to me, making me care for them quickly. Their inflections were breathtaking, and their chemistry was palpable. Grant did a great job bringing out Bri's fun side and her strong emotions as well. This is my first time listening to Salinas and I loved his rich, deep voice and accent. He made Nando and the whole Cantù family feel genuine and real. I really enjoyed listening to them both and was completely lost in their storytelling.
This series is getting better with each book! I loved this fun, emotional, and steamy romance and I can't wait for more from Luna Harbor!
