Publisher's Summary

Some people dream of getting a second chance at life. For Eli Miller, it was never a choice.

Most of Eli’s life has been spent running, doing everything in his power to protect his family. His world is plagued by war, wild magic, and unimaginable monsters. But none of these threats are more dangerous than the immortal beings known as Adventurers. They are players and Entarra is their game. Its citizens aren’t real. Yet, to the billions of near-sentient AI that live there, the game world is the only one they will ever know. It is where they are born, live, and die. Eli is no different.

After being attacked with a strange weapon, Eli awakens as the thing he fears most: an adventurer. Struggling to cope with his new reality, he finds himself in the middle of the most nefarious plot of all: His world, and everything he loves, is about to be deleted.

An Epic LitRPG Saga for people who love Log Horizon, Ready Player One, and The Matrix.

quality litrpg

overall this book starts of a little rough but it gets. the MC finally pulls his head out of his emotions after 2/3 of the book and it starts to get good. the first bit is covered in stat spam but the author has backed off in a major way from that. solid book that is expanding the genre if the outside world plot is a little trop filled. this book is worth your time and credit

Loved it

A great take on litrpg with a view from a different perspective. Fun, action packed, and poignant at times. Can’t recommend it enough.

Good Litrpg Fantasy

I enjoyed this book with a few exceptions. The MC is a idiot at times. The MC spends much to much time wining and repeating the same mistakes over and over. The story itself is solid and the narration is very good.

a great start to a new storyline

I enjoyed the book. It certainly picked up at the end and it seemed like the author as well as the narrator felt more confident with the characters. Their are definitely some characters I would love to see more from, try to understand why they are the way they are outside of just being flavor text. It's a good series and I'll definitely pick up the next one

Muddling through

I am seriously getting tired of books where the MC’s needs to trudge through crap and blamed for everything under the sun by their “friends”. I’m more than halfway through and the MC has been slapped hit and punched by both friend and foe. Instead of “Altered Realms” this book should be called “Saga of a Punching Bag”.

🤦‍♂️ 20 hour setup book

Really emotional MC, 19-20 hour setup book. It was a emotional roller coaster and not a good one. Hippie Turtle sidekick. NPC into MC was a interesting twist, about the only one. Stay away until the Author can prove he can fix it in book 2 . Save your credit you will thank me.

Amazing

I really liked this Litrpg. In a genre full of gamelit this is a true Litrpg. Evolving quests, blue screens, but not too many, this rang all the traditional Litrpg bells. Very different feeling in the beginning starting with a main character that is an NPC. It did fall into some of the similar tropes that are in Litrpgs, but never felt to drag or fall flat. Its funny saying that a 21 hour book is merely a setup, but that is exactly what this is. When the MC gets his true class this book jumps into a whole new gear. I can not wait for more in this series. Do yourself a favor and read/listen to this one today.

Took a while for me to warm up to it but oh boy!

WHAT A RIDE! This is not your standard litrpg where you have an OP character from the start who gets divine luck and unreal bonuses. At first this turned me off but after a while I couldn't be more wrong! This is a long book and after a certain point, the author could have easily split this story into two books (So thank you!). This book follows an NPC with a twist. It is entertaining and provides a myriad of pop culture references. The leveling system follows the standard game logic but the fact that the MC is a human/wolf hybrid is rather unique. Eli's companion Don (Ninja turtle fans) is amazing and the MC also meets other unique and interesting characters. I can't wait for book two! The narrator did a fantastic job. He really brought the story alive!
