Made me sleepy

The narrator’s voice was so monotonous. There was no inflection and the cadence stayed the same throughout. So sleepy. The closing was the most exciting part of the narration.

Omega Maya and Alpha Remy

Initially, I wasn’t sure about this Omegaverse world but it got better in this quick listen. The alphas were very dominant and took omegas as their mates or, as the bad ones did, used then sold them. Omega Maya meets Alpha Remy as she is salvaging a ship. They end up salvaging together since there is more than enough junk for the two of them. Maya had a horrible experience with a dominant alpha in the past and it turned her off of all alphas. Remy is aware of her past and he takes care with her. She takes a drug each day to suppress her omega tendencies. Remy thinks he has finally found his omega in Maya but needs to convince her. Remy was very patient and loving towards Maya. There is some action in this book and it has a nice HEA. Maya was fortunate to find one of the good alphas like Remy. Blake Stanton did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Light and enjoyable

it is a short story and light omegaverse, but it was enjoyable. I thought Blake Stanton did a really good job with the narration.

Needed female narrator

The storyline was so so; the narrator was okay for male characters but not female characters. Listened to book in one sitting; however, not always actively because of monotone voice of narrator. It was pretty dry.

Beautiful Sci-Fi Love Story!

Maya wants nothing to do with being any Alpha’s Omega. A whiff or two of her scent, a glance in her eyes and Remy just knows that Maya is his fated mate, but how can he get Maya to see it. More to the point, how can he get her to accept it, accept him? This beautifully written, wonderfully narrated love story was fantastic! At just under two and a half hours it was the perfect length to enjoy in one sitting. There is heat, humor, joy, excitement and adventure. Maya is no shrinking violet, and as alpha as Remy is, he is a gentleman. How refreshing is that! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this story! I can tell you that I want more!

Enjoyable read

I found this to be an enjoyable short read (well, listen). Sweet, yet erotic and interesting. My only “complaint” is that it would have be nice to have a deeper look into the characters as opposed to the fairly superficial one in the story.

Strong idea, short story.

I truly enjoyed the softer side of this omega story vs the typical hard sex/rape style most omegaverse stories have. The big downside of this story was the length and extremely fast pace of the romance. It appears the author just shot the story out to make a deadline instead of taking the time to develop a plot. It could have been so much more.

Great syfy adventure with plenty of action and fantastic characters. Narrator did a fantastic job on this audiobook.
