I thought I'd left Blackwater, Texas, behind for good. I didn't belong in the small town, but my dad wouldn't listen. He dragged me back home in his beat-up truck and dropped a bomb along the way: Chase Matthews was moving in with us. He was the golden boy of my high school, my former best friend, and the last person I wanted sleeping across the hall. His presence was too great a reminder of the ghosts I was trying to forget.

It was a great story!
5/5 for sure!
I was devastated when I finished the book. It was one of the best books I have ever read! I highly recommend this book. I could hear the words very clearly and there was enthusiasm in the narrators voice. Great book with great reality and bravery of some of the characters when they had to stand for what was better and had more understanding to it.

Awesome And Spectacular
This was a great book, and being able to listen and hear the words clearly helped us to finish the book in the amount of time we needed too. We highly recommend this book, and hope you and many more people read it. Thanks for all you do!
