Publisher's summary

In a world where personal value has been distilled down to how many likes, shares, and comments your posts receive, some people will do anything to become famous....

And if you can't make it on talent or looks alone, sometimes you have to resort to more sinister means of acquiring the attention you crave.

What starts off as a simple assignment - finding a missing cat - ends up being one of the most volatile, and personal, cases of ex-NYPD Detective Damien Drake’s career.

Drawn back to the city that he both loves and loathes, Drake is once again thrust into the spotlight. This time, it’s to search for a missing Tabby. But while, at the outset, this seems straightforward and benign, he should know better; after all, with a child he hasn’t seen since birth, an entire police department out to get him, and a PI Firm on the brink of financial ruin, nothing in his life is easy.

But that won’t stop him from doing the right thing, no matter the personal cost.

As a general rule, you should never f**k with cats. Equally as dangerous is messing with Detective Damien Drake or his inner circle. Because if you piss Drake off, he's coming for you.

And there aren't enough Internet trolls on earth to stop him.

Horrifying

A satirical spin on the narcissism springing forth from the many social platforms the blur the lines of reality for so many young people. This was a good story, but a little confusing when it comes to Becket. I am assuming the gaps will be filled in once I start the Becket series.
