i like Pierces's series but...

from someone who is current on all of Pierce's series, i find that the stories can get really redundant and repetitive. the main characters need growth. they all experience way too much in life to be so stagnant. with this au pair series, does this young lady learn from her experiences at all? she's brave and intelligent one minute but completely absent minded and spineless the next. develop more around the anxiety or leave it alone. develop more around the sleep walking or leave it alone. at this point both these factors are just a nuisance to the character and to us the readers.
