Publisher's Summary

Always seen and treated like the baby of the overprotective Romankov/Sullivan clan, Katerina may have been the youngest child, and only girl, of Alexei and Vivienne, but she was all woman. Kat worked tirelessly to establish her own identity to not only become a world-renowned jewelry designer but carved her own sense of independence, despite the closeness she shared with her family. To the outside, Kat had it all. The only thing missing was...love.

She found it in Holton Brammer.

The Swede's goal was to live a simple, drama-free life and share it with the woman of his dreams whom he'd coveted since...well, the particulars were best kept to himself. There were a few obstacles that had prevented Holt from making that dream a reality. They came in the form of her domineering father and her brothers - his three best friends since childhood.

Just when he's finally able to overcome those hurdles, Holt's family obligations and unknown forces turn his world inside out, threatening the safety and security of not only his peaceful life, but that of his most prized possession.

Katerina Romankov.

Contains mature themes.

Whiskey bound

That ending!!!! Nice twist. Too bad Whiskey Row doesn’t exist , I’d be packing a bag.

I wanted more of just Kat & Holt...

So I loved the men of Whiskey Row. I did feel like each book after the first two fell off a little. I did feel like this 17+ hrs was way too long!!! it was too much! There were way too many POVs throughout the book. It lacked focused on Holt and Kat, and there were wayyyy too many flash backs into the past! But I made it through and overall still like the Whiskey Row Family.

I understood the glimpses into possible future story, but I really did miss the main focus being on Kat and Holt.

The narration was also very good.

Shake my head

As a southerner I am almost insulted by Morae Brehon’s attempt to provide a voice for Kat. There was nothing appropriate about that mocking of our intonation. Some things you just have to leave alone. Story was ok but that voice just upset me.

Reading and Storyline in conflict

The story is well written but the voices and dramatization don’t fit the characters. It’s really annoying when the male reader fakes a female voice. And the female reader shouldn’t end a sentence on an upward lilt so much.

Whiskey Row!

Most enjoyable book in the series. This instalment to the Whiskey Row Saga capped it well. There was something for all tastes, just enough romance, sex, family, violence, blood, gore and laughter, to satisfy us all! I cannot wait to see what is to come for the residents of Whiskey Row. Thanks to the author and the performance of both narrators, job well done! I recommend the entire series as a must read.

All in, waiting for the next installment

So I read all of the reviews to this book & think that some of them are a bit overly critical
Yes the “Southern accents” may be a bit extra but honestly I know southern ppl who talk like this
Story was good
Performance was actually good too, imo
I understand why there was not much about Guy & Fern & I’m honestly looking forward to the next installment bc I need to know if Madame Lalita is…
Anyway, great read. Steamy smartly crafted & devious!

Kat & Holt, winning

Good Story Bad narrator

I really liked the story it was hard to listen to because of Morae Brehon's narration. Her accents were terrible and they went in and out so sometimes it was hard to tell which characters were talking. It would have been better If the other narrator Sean Crisden had done the whole thing. I really did like the story and hope maybe we get a follow up book!
