Cute short with minor angst

Cute short second chance or a real first chance to see here a once flourishing friendship could go. After being cheated on and returning home for the holidays this year alone. Jana finds that her mom has invited and ex friend to the celebration. An ex friend that could have been more if he had been a bit more real , more mature and more responsible with honest.

Amanda was not bad but there were some point that may have needed a more serious tone.

I was confused about whether the audience was meant to be YA or adult. The speech and unrealistic attitudes were immature enough for the YA angsty group and wasn’t a good fit for Florida natives. But the subject matter was straddling the line. Maybe the overchipper narrator was throwing me a little? Not sure.
