Once again, the poet casts her spell as she resumes one of the greatest personal narratives of our time. This review comes from one who just recently visited Ghana for the first time. Excellent writing!!
Set between 1962 and 1965, Dr. Angelou recounts her steps in Ghana and speaks poignantly to so many of my own sentimental experiences in this wonderful country where I have a measure of ancestry. Dr. Angelou’s pointed words and colorful descriptions have given more meaning to all I managed to take in.
