Publisher's Summary

A pact between worlds. The search for a true human mate. A sci-fi fairy tale comes true....

Once upon a time, the Trilyn made contact with the people of Earth. In return for taking seven fertile females as brides for their seven princes, they would share their alien technology and enable Earth to create intergalactic space ships.

Prince Gardax, the eldest of the seven princes, has endured years of searching for the human female who can bear his children. Two years of parties, genetic compatibility scanners, and failed attempts at finding the one woman who was meant for him.

In despair that he will never find his mate among the glittering party guests, Prince Gardax begins the search in earnest, and finds his mate in the most unlikely of places - the palace kitchens.

Amy Allan was just looking for a job, anything to ensure the survival of herself and her baby sister. Working in the great palace of the eldest Trilyn prince seemed like a good idea at the time, and the only option available for a war-refugee with a toddler in tow. But with a backbreaking workload and a nightmare boss, hoping for something better seems futile.

When the devastatingly handsome alien prince bursts into the kitchens demanding his mate, Amy’s last shred of hope disappears as her domineering boss, Darla, steps in to claim the prince for herself. Darla will stop at nothing to become a princess, even if it means threatening Amy and her sister. Can Amy defeat her nemesis and win the prince’s heart? Or will she lose everything she’s fought so hard to keep?

Alien Prince Charming is the first book in the Trilyn Alien Fairy Tales series. This is a science-fiction romance story featuring a stubborn working-class human female and a dominant alien prince in search of his mate. Each book in this pause-resisting science-fiction series has no cliffhanger, no cheating, and a guaranteed happy ending!

Sci-fi Fairytale Romance

The author does a really great job mixing the elements of sci-fi with romance in this easy listen. The story line was intriguing and flowed smoothly from start to finish. Interestingly, the author was also able to capture the feeling of a fairytale. Some parts of the story were anticipated but there was still an unexpected twist. There are also a couple of steamy scenes.

The narrator did a pretty good job, overall. I do think there could have been better differentiation in voice when the point of view changed from Amy to Gardax. I had to pay close attention to whose point if view we were in and it wasn't always obvious when it had switched.

Fun listen!

Loved this spin on Cinderella. Great characters and story with plenty of twists and heat. Fantastic narrator who really brought the characters to life. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

I liked it!

This is a pretty fun story. The romance is believable and there are some love scenes that are pretty detailed. The prince is a nice guy, wish the female love interest had a little more self esteem, but it all comes together in the end with a little help from her friends. A fun fairy tale spin off, I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Good Story

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. The story was good and there were many twists and turns within it. I actually enjoyed the complex nature of the story. The narration needed editing. There were several glitches. Overall though it is a good start to the series. Some of the arears were just too trite but only took me out of the story for a minute. Loved the relationship between the brothers. Darla was a character that suited her role of antagonist. I wonder if she will make another appearance.

Prince Charming

Alien Prince Charmin, earthling Cinderella, evil boss. Oh my word! I wanted to reach in and grab this Evil boss lady and out her for what she was! After saying that, I think it could have been tweaked just a little. Over all a good audiobook. I received this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Pitifully Let Down

I had high hopes for my first try with this author and it’s now my only try. The only intense feel I got for this story was HOW MUCH I HATED THE VILLAIN. The quantity of time I spent raging at the stupidity of the heroine still boggles me! Literally had two encounters with the guy before she’s madly in love? And they weren’t even drawn out events where they actually got to know each other in-depth or even kissed.

Don’t waste your book credits on this read. The author needs to step up her game in building character interactions

story good, narrator awful

The story was very good. The editing of the story has alot of mistakes in it. The Narrator was awful. The voices of the most of the other Prince sound alike and are very feminine sounding. The main Prince at time does not sound like a strong assertive prince.

Not what I expected

The story started off well enough, but half way through it felt like it dragged on. I wasn’t a big fan of Amy from the beginning and still wasn’t up to the end. The only good quality I found was her relationship with her sister. There was also way too much internal monologue that I had a hard time paying attention at times.

I liked the idea of a device that could determine the correct genetics and the failure of Gardox's device right before he finds his match.

If it wasn’t for the narrator I probably wouldn’t have finished. I enjoy the changing of tones for characters. Though the two main characters did sound very similar making it hard at times to know who was speaking.

a good listen

I enjoyed this this book. A little suspense and a lot of love make this book fun.

Chase Ripley was a fun narrator, he had a few stumbles but that was ok.

Zara Zenia has written a great story. I'm looking forward to Audible listening the next books in the series.
