Very valuable info.; needs skilled narrator

Content is very helpful!! Please do the text justice and the-record with a skilled ,experienced narrator. I’ve been an audible customer for years now, and this is the first book that seems to not be a “production”. This book is read in a manner that conveys as if there is no consideration to punctuation, making it very hard to process the content.

Sounds like a computer generated voice

I really love this book. I wanted in in audible so I could listen in my car. The “voice” is SO distracting that I was unable to listen for even a little while. I had to return it.

Life-changer!

This book has changed my life! Only the Bible is more important to me. The 12 steps work and offer a 75% success rate for recovery (the other 25% see improvement); and I have seen that to be true of the population in my AA meetings. If you have a loved one struggling with addiction, please read this book. If you think or know you have an addiction, then this book is for you! God's will be done and may He bless you and keep you.

Incomplete! Stories Omitted!

I love this book but was very disappointed that the stories were omitted. I had hoped to listen to the book in its entirety.

The voice

It's everything you need to hear but don't want to because of the voice. Listen but just from another narrator.

a life saver.

Active listening always helps me see life more clearly. This is the best way I have found for people to conduct their lives, AA or not.

The key to contented productive sobriety.

Written as a basic text for survial by the founder of AA. Contempt before investigation is the key tell ignorance so read with an open mind. A book that teaching a person how to live sober and be happy joyous and free! I loved the old school Yankee voice of the narrator who talked with out P.C editing.

This version got me sober

I used to listen to this book when I went to sleep. I thought it was soothing to my shaky alcoholic soul while detoxing. Been sober since 11.12.2016
