I find the stories of the early AA members and Glenn’s account of his experience very helpful. As stated many times in others stories, I have felt I could control my problem, I didn’t think I really had a problem, and learning that my feelings of not measuring up are very common and I am not alone.
The final chapter outlining the 12 steps was extremely helpful because I am new to the program and feel uncertain about the steps.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks they might have a problem with alcohol, and Finding a sponsor as soon as possible.

I listen to this for 5 minutes a day. When I am done I start over. It is truly the best formula for life as life should be. It is written to work for every one. It teaches unity, to watch for our similarities and learn from our differences. If every being would learn to truly live by this books teaching. There would be no war.
In my opinion addiction is the biggest epidemis ever. This book teaches us how to not only defeat it but how to be come the best person we can be. Uniting us with fellows world wide.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No. I have a high tolerance, but this narrator almost ruined this book for me.
