Publisher's Summary

The book Alcohol Lied to Me has helped tens of thousands of people get back in control of their drinking thanks to its unique and simple to follow message.

But alcohol is the most devious and deceptive drug on planet earth and occasionally people fall back under its spell. This journey backwards virtually always starts with the same sentence being uttered: "Surely just one drink won't hurt".

Just one drink... it seems such an innocuous action that it couldn't possibly cause any substantial drama. In reality it is the same hoping to take just one little step off a cliff. It's only one seemingly insignificant step, but the consequences are rapid, irreversible and severe. Both events start off an unstoppable series of events.

In Alcohol Lied to Me... Again, Craig gives you the tools to once again break the cycle of alcohol addiction. You will discover why this relapse can be a good thing and how you use it to ensure you stay sober for the rest of your life.

If you have started drinking again... this book will guide you quickly back to a happy and fulfilled life, completely free from the misery of alcohol.

Really enjoyed it

I enjoyed this book because it was a easy to understand and I read it on Audible. I will probably read it again. I really enjoyed the vitamin chapter. I would highly recommend it to everyone. I gave it 4 stars only because this is my first book by the author. I will read more of his books and I’m sure the stars will be 5. Thank you for this insight.

Thank you

I made it through 24 hrs listening to this book. I never thought of alcohol in that way. I feel a bit overwhelmed that I am back her after sobriety, I know I could've never made it, had I not listened to this Audio book. Thank you.

Katecrrll12@grail.com

What a great book, I am 2 weeks free of alcohol, after 2 6 week stays in rehab , I never thought it would be so easy. No cravings no mood swings, I was scared to stop my 2 bottles of wine a night , but I had no side effects. My doctor had told me to detox in a hospital , I didn't . I just told myself that was it, I was tired of being sick and tired, I took a photo of myself after a night of drinking , I keep it to remind myself of what alcohol does to me, thank you sooo much Craig , 🙏🏻🙏🏻you saved my life 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻

Alcohol: The Urine of Yeast

Dear Craig: I have learned a lot about alcohol and it’s devastating effects from your books. Thank you. It is my understanding that alcohol is created when yeast ingest the rotting vegetables and excrete alcohol as their urine. It may be helpful for your on line members to know this. On the subject of membership I purchased a membership for over $300.00 but have not been able to access it online. I’ve sent you several emails asking for help, all of which have gone unanswered. Please send me a link and all information needed to access your members site to kengenz@outlook.com please. Thank you. Ken Genz

Simple yet effective

Craig Beck is no nonsense while still being encouraging. This book had the same effect on me as the first one and included a great repetitive reminder: "Just one drink" is a dangerous phrase...

Stop drinking again😫😭

Criege Beck makes the most sense I’ve found of anyone so far. I’m a struggling, non-drinker want to be of 30 year’s. That doesn’t include both my parents drank a lot regularly, and I and my brothers were probably born alcohol addicted. I’ve searches and tried my whole life. Watched my mom die a horrible death, my father 90 now seems barely affected, I almost gave up, there is a spark of hope in me now. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou 💕🐾

LAST CHANCE SALOON!

Like listening to my life story. I went 3 years without one sip of alcohol touching my lips. New years eve came along and I thought one drink won't hurt. Wrong. Within three months I was back in hospital. This really is my last chance. Listened to your book twice. Today is 100 days without a drink and your book WILL stop me slipping back towards certain death ☠. Thanks for a great book. Robert White age 61.

Common sense

What did you like most about Alcohol Lied to Me... Again!?

Craig words are total common sense, the words he used reminded me of the children's story the king with no clothes! Why are we all so scared to admit what fools we have been instead of putting our heads down and carrying on.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alcohol Lied to Me... Again!?

The moments of almost bullying, remind me of many times when I haven't wanted to drink but did because I couldn't bear being teased and to feel a kill joy and boring.

Have you listened to any of Craig Beck’s other performances? How does this one compare?

No not yet but I will

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have listened to the book several times not always in one sitting but I have it playing as a back round noise.Just as a reminder sometimes of how foolish it is to drink alcohol.

Any additional comments?

Yes I would like to have this book played at schools and colleges before kids start their weekends , just to make them think.

Powerful

It enlightens you on the reasons that you drink as opposed to why you shouldn't, a different perspective.

This has helped me so much

I have struggled with alcohol for the last few years (I am a 54 year old woman) It had gone from being something fun to something very dark. I'm not really sure when that shift took place but as Craig explains in this book, alcohol is highly addictive and you set yourself up for problems when you start. You just don't know when that trap will fall!
I feel this book has released me from that trap. Craig's clear, precise narration helps you discover WHY you fell in and gives you a way out.

first is much better

not nearly as good or useful as the first one. sounded more like a rant on how evil alcohol is, as opposed to actual advice to quit
