Horrible!

The narrator shouted his lines accompanied by loud irritating music.the only thing accomplished by the reader was the destination of what was one of Agatha Christie’s short stories!

Very Disappointing

I am only submitting this review to advise not to buy. I love Agatha Christie but the narration butchers the story. The readers talents are in some other area, definitely not in reading aloud

Disappointed

I am new to Audible and was eager to have this anthology -- short stories by Agatha Christie with Hercules Pierrot.
Sadly I was disappointed with the reader who had no expression or skill. He just reading the story as if it was his first time and he stumbled over words often.

I only listened to the first story, as the entire collection uses the same reader. I hope to exchange this one for some other book.

Background music belongs in the background

The music accompanying this reading is often louder than the reader. At times it feels that the reader never encountered an Agatha Christie novel. He stumbles over words and has little emotion when reading. Very disappointed in my purchase.

Horrible narration

The narrator was so bad I couldn't listen. I can't discuss the story because I couldn't focus enough to know.

Distracting music

The background music detracts rather than add to the narration. Interesting stories. Better included with subscription.

Hard to follow

I had a hard time following what was going on. Seems like the commas, periods and other punctuations were in the wrong place.

Agatha Christie is always a classic, however...

The narrator is awful and the background music is not only totally unnecessary but entirely too loud. The recording is ruined and a waste of time and money.

Get a reader

The narration here is so awful, it even spoils Agatha. This ought to be an embarrassment to Audible.

Disappointing

The reader does not read with expression. Frequent stumbles. Why the music background, detracts from the story.

An insult to Agatha Christie

Narrated by a slow and terrible twanged American accent that completely undermined the very prestige and etiquette of reading Agatha Christie and enjoying a cosy but intellectual read. unforgivable and terrible. urght. Not even one star would I put if I could do without.

Background music too loud

This audiobook have a very loud music in the background that sadly does not stay there. Is so loud and intense that makes hearing the narrator and following the story very difficult. I did not enjoy whatsoever could not even finish 2nd chapter and I love Agatha's stories

Turn off the background music

The background music is distracting and I just didn’t enjoy trying to listen to this narrator competing with the music as he spoke. I love these stories I love relaxing with them but this combination was not good.
