If you vote, you owe it to your country to read this book. This book is a person memoir, so in may ways it is painful to read. But even more painful is hearing about the abuse suffered by migrants coming north to escape gangs of murderers and grinding poverty in Central America. Few politicians have the courage to oppose the border patrol. If enough voters made a stink about it, it would be disbanded.

Jen tells her story in such a raw and honest way. She brings receipts and documents every thing thoroughly. I praise her for being so open about her trauma and how she is trying to heal herself from within and taking on an advocacy role for those she wronged in the past. however that beeing said I am very happy I read this book it sure got me thinking..
and for me any book that makes you think is a good book I gave it 5 stars enjoy
