As an audio book, it was very enjoyable and interesting.
I very much enjoyed the audio book. I will listen to it again. It was very informative and I will go to her website and seek more information. I loved her personal stories, it made me remember my grandmother and all her wisdom.
Thank you, it has inspired me to also go deep into my Caribbean roots and seek more!

Wealth of information
I enjoyed the loads of information given. The most irritating part was the exaggerated southern accent. If that’s not the narrator’s natural accent, don’t try it. It was off putting. If it wasn’t for the desire to hear the info I would fast forward pass that part.

I loved how encouraging she is of us diving deeper Into our healing journey with herbalism.
I loved the book so much!!! So great to continue to learn herbal medicine on a deeper level. I’m so excited and inspired by this book to go on a deeper journey of healing especially through cleansing baths. I also loved the interviews in the book and how she highlighted others voices. Amazing book

Not really about herbs
I was disappointed that there was not more emphasis on herbs. Most of the story was about the black culture - African and American. Although interesting, it’s not what I expected.
