Missing starting manual for life

I definitely wish this would have been available when I was in high school or even just graduating college because its helpful tips and guidance would have been super beneficial starting my adult life. The author does a good job breaking down how crucial some of this information is to know for young adults as their venturing out into the real world. I appreciated how in depth some of the information was but still very easy to grasp and understand.

All things adults need to know

I did well in school and learned all the subjects they taught me…none of which included many important topics adults need to know! This book is so helpful to learn those necessary things that you have to know but don’t learn in school.

This book contains a lot of insightful tips to make the process easier, to help us navigate through life, and avoid the mistakes made by others. I love that it covers a wide range of topics about adulthood, from managing finances and laundry to family relationships and dating. Practical life advice

Got this for my best friend's little brother who just graduated from college, tongue in cheek as the title suggests, to help him feel oriented in his life on his way to independence. Apparently he loved it, and I guess it really made him feel reassured in his process. He particularly appreciated the part about handling money/finances, since he never got that in school or from his parents. Would recommend to any recent graduate, either high school or college.

Very Informative

Oh, how I wish I had known some of this in my early twenties! I absolutely love the fact that the author touched on basic life skills as well as professional tidbits. I have no doubt that this would be beneficial for teens as well as young adults. maybe even some old dogs that are suffering from a failure to launch. Bravo!

The book you never knew you needed!

This book has it all. Everything I wish I had known in my late teens/early 20's is right here in front of me. Better late then never!

My favorite part about this book (that I wish I knew years ago) was all the relevant information about retirement. No one stresses at a young age the importance of saving for your future but not preparing for this is a big mistake.

I highly recommend this book to EVERY young adult and every parent that is guiding a young adult towards independence.

The must have for all young adults!

I wish I had a manual like this when I was young and naive, but it's never too late. From relationships to budgeting and finance management to job hunting and even being the man of the home, this audiobook covers it all but importantly, it stresses the need to start preparing for retirement very early. No one tells you any of these things. Adulting 101 gives you the needed guidance to get into the world and be the best you can ever be. I definitely would recommend this audiobook.

Like having a smart big sister or brother

Not everyone gives or gets the best advice. This book fills in the gaps, as if you had a wise older relative or mentor helping you along and teaching you the tricks about how to do life more effectively. Instead of guessing how to do things and looking at tons of YouTube videos and Googling, just listen to this book and you’ll save a ton of time. I especially thought the chapter on relationships was really helpful. A lot of self-help focuses on doing everything ourselves, but remembering to nourish relationships is so important for making life better and easier. This book can benefit everyone, especially those who are transitioning out of high school or college.
