Finally, a good lesbian fantasy!!!

where do I begin.... likable characters, brilliant setting, amazing storyline, and fantastic romance! The romance between Laney (?) and Celeste is nothing but beautiful, sweet, down to earth and very touching! I really loved this story. Hollie is like the freaking master of the Schumacher universe. From the different inflections and tones, hell the damn accents! she's a gem and a half!! Officially, my favorite audiobook voiceover to forever listen to!

This is a very enjoyable book. I love schubach's spend on medieval times with a touch of magic and Hollie Jackson puts a wonderful voice to it.

A must read, fast paced post apocalyptic fantasy.

I usually don't like fantasy books but this one gripped me. Every character had a unique voice and contributed to the ongoing story. if you like books with lots of action, characterization and a good plot, this is for you.

Bored narrator

I do wish the narrator didn't sound quite so bored, it's very discouraging. Other than that, good book.

In love with this series!!!

Wonderful performance and such a great story. Feminisim at it's finest. It'll make you laugh, cry, and feel overcome with pride. I highly recommend to all!

Loved this story

I loved this book. So many little dips and turns it keeps you right on the edge of your seat!

Good Narration, Average Story.

The narration was compelling. The story itself was average if not a little disappointing with some missed plot opportunities and the inclusion of details or events that didn't need to be there. Overall, however, an enjoyable book.

Fluff fic, Mary Sue kind of, good narration,

- expected a light wlw fantasy novel, and expectations were met
- good narrator, though Celeste voice was a little whiny for me
- not necessarily exciting nor surprising, but still enjoyable. I would read more. Think the literary complexity of Twilight.
* clumsy character development if any
* uses common tropes without storytelling mastery to compensate.
* weird pacing

Maybe this was an earlier novel in this author's career? Some of his others were a bit better. :)
