Touches the Heart of Humanity

There are so many things we may have encountered, or done, or know someone who has done, pain, loss, confusion, anger, resentment, fear, lack of faith and faith. This story, so raw and true, touches the heart of humanity. What an incredibly raw, open, vulnerable and beautiful story told by not just a brave woman, but for every one of us who has ever suffered unspeakable confusion and grief. Thank you Maddie Corman. I have never loved you more. - CDH

Accidentally Brave,

We all have our hidden stories. We are not all brave enough to tell our stories as honestly as Maddie Corman does in her play. Very powerful!

Overproduced

The story may have been OK, but it's difficult to say because it was overacted and overproduced. It was just annoying. I hated it.

Thank you, Maddie Corman for being Accidentally Brave

Anyone who has experienced betrayal trauma needs to read this no matter where they are in their recovery process; 3 days, 3 months or 3 years.

Beautiful

I just loved listening to this. I have not been through the same kind of trauma as Maddie, but I’ve experienced heartache, loss, rage, and grief, and this left me feeling less alone, less fearful that things will never be easier or comfortable again. I was riveted throughout this listening experience - didn’t want to pause it once. I am grateful there are people in this world like Maddie, who share what they’ve learned and open their hearts to the rest of us.

Amazing

This is a remarkable story. Honest, gutting, and unexpectedly funny. I love the character of Corman's unnamed guardian angel.

Transformational, real

This is a compelling story. I also saw the staged production and this version retains all the power of the original. Incredibly moving.
