Red Rising but not as good

Felt like the plot of The Hunger Games and Red Rising were smashed together with aliens. I recommend reading those two and skipping this. They were loads better. Character development was disconnected and felt forced rather than organic. Narrator was tearibly boring. I think the premise had tons of potential but was poorly executed.

Excellent sci-fi meshed with 300

The tech in this book is very cool. A mix of tron and sparta, the last city of Earth defends itself with brutal efficenty. But the book takes some interesting twists and turns along the way as a friendship develops between teh two most unlikely of people. Narrator did great too.

World Shattering!

What if you believed and were taught your entire life that you lived in the only ‘human’ city only to discover that had been a lie? The monsters and creatures that tried to destroy their city failed, but this lone girl, Jessica, may do this single-handedly. Cojax, the protagonist, is faced with decisions that could destroy his world or save it.

This was a very well-written and narrated audiobook. The battles were intense and attention-grabbing. The author, Sterling Nixon, does a great job in world-building and character development as well as providing rich details that are vivid. At times, the story moved a little slow, but in the end, it was well worth the listen. Jessica was by far my favorite. I love her will and determination. I am excited for the next book in this series, Titan.

Jason Finch narrated this story and did a great job. His narration was smooth and clear, he projected the perfect amount of inflection and emotion. I look forward to hearing more narration by Finch.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.

Don't waste your money or credits

Slow, bad, seems like it skips all over the place. And the narrator is not good.

Interesting Story, Questionable Narration

I kept thinking that I would have enjoyed this book much more on paper or with a different narrator. I wanted to put it down several times but I wanted to finish.

Great start to a promising series

Enjoyed the fast pace action, although the training sequence could be just a little tedious, but it all makes sense as to why everything went down. Great ending.

Loved it!

Just spent my whole day listening while I should have been studying! Fantastic world building nad well developed characters. Great twists at the end and promise of future books! Loved it!

Very good

The two main characters are dynmaic and interseting. Flawed, but not so much where you hate them. Its got some good twists and turns plus an interesting and dynamic world building and tech use. My imaginating started to run wild as I listened. I'm definetly hooked on the series.

Solid work

Solid work and great start to an epic series. Narrator did good. Story had twists and turns and great characters. Readlly injoyed this one.

Give it a few chapters due to slow start. Picks up and gets better quick.
