Liam Montgomery - 40, rich, cocky, wears a Rolex, likes expensive whiskey, completely out of my league. He was not who I would have chosen to have gone on a blind date with. Just because he was gorgeous didn’t mean he would make a good boyfriend. Plus, he was way too old for me.

That didn’t stop me from flirting with him, though. Or, from spending one very long, exciting night with him. I’m not going to tell anyone about that night. Ironically, it turned out that Liam hadn’t even been my intended date. Oops!

Unfortunately for me, hot mess Emily, the biggest shock of my life was still to come. For, while Liam and I should never have been, he’s not about to leave my life quite that easily. You see, I’m celebrating my dad’s retirement with my folks, and Liam is also there. Only, this time, he’s not alone.

Excellent read

The narrator did an excellent job of pulling the listener in and making them feel like they were a part of the story. I enjoyed listening and now I can’t wait to hear more of these girls stories.

Best blind date ever!

This book has it all! It is hilarious, especially the dialogue during the blind date! Then the story takes twists and turns, many of which are unexpected! It's impossible to put this book down!

Love a book that I cannot put down and this was one of those books. Suspenseful and funny, cause my girls and I would have been the same way.

Loved the twists

This is a great book that will keep you guessing.
Standalone with no cliffhangers. Told from her POV.
Blind date that went crazy not just wrong, but wow the way it turned out was HOT!
Can you ever trust a man that plays by his own rules, can you love him?
I don't want to say to much and spoil the fun, just trust me and get this one.

About last night

I enjoyed the story of an older man/younger woman who met during a blind date gone wrong. I liked the fact that there were three friends that always have each other's back, however I felt it got hung up in the minutia of their conversations and needed a little more substance between them. I have read several of the authors books and she spins a good story that keeps me flipping pages, wanting more. I'm cheering her on and looking forward to the next book.
