Publisher's Summary

How many secrets have they kept from me? And how many lies have they told me over the years? How many times can my heart be broken by them, before it fails to heal at all? How can I be in love with more than one person at a time? And how in the hell did I become Queen of Canada's entire supernatural population? Those are just some of the questions that are currently swirling around in my mind like a damn tornado, consuming me, and sweeping up any other thoughts it can, until I can't think of anything else. Urgh!

So here is my dilemma: I have three of the most gorgeous men standing right in front of me, a werewolf, a hunter, and a vampire, and they have given me an ultimatum. I need to choose one of them to be my King, the chosen man will stand by my side and help me rule this newly formed world, where all supernatural beings must coexist harmoniously. My problem with that is that I have no clue who to choose. I can’t pick one, I'm in love with them all.

No matter, I’m jumping ahead of myself as always. I need to drag you all the way back to the beginning of our epic journey. Maybe if you get to know us, you will be able to help me decide who will be my Forever King. Be warned, it’s not a pretty tale, and even though I’ve had a lot of fun along the way, my happily ever after has yet to come.

So, are you sure you’re ready for the ride of your life? Good. Let’s go, quickly, follow me....

*

Abandoned by an Alpha is not for the faint-hearted, it is full of twists and turns, sex, gore, romance, humor, and heartbreak. The Freya Rose series is hard-hitting and will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. But be warned, this ride is so addictive, that you will never want to get off, and each time it comes to a stop, you will be begging me for more.

This book is for mature audiences. 18+ advised. Sexual content, profanities, a cliffhanger ending, and scenes that would make your mother blush.

🐺Book 1 in a 🧛🏻‍♀️7 book series 😇

This book was so freaking good and heartbreaking. There are so many moving parts in the book it’s hard to summarize everything. I’m a huge fan of RH and this book feels like an RH but I’m not really sure especially after what Tristan did. According to the authors site, this is the first book in a 7 book series. She has completed 2 books and the 3rd is set to release April 2020. The second book is available on kindle but I can’t find anything regarding the audible release. OMG the second book has to be released on audible please please please.

Must Listen/Read!!!

I’m an avid reader of anything paranormal and I can truly only beg you to listen/read this book! It gave me everything I could want and more from a great paranormal read! Great plot, great characters, and the story line left me craving more when I was done.

Freya is this strong, independent, take no crap female and believe me, she has a crap show thrown at her most of the book. I’m team Mason ALL THE WAY! Love, love, love this phenomenal read! I am 100% one clicking L.P. From now on!

I absolutely thought Kas Nixon did an AMAZING job narrating this story! I couldn’t stop listening! I’m not normally an audiobook person but I will definitely recommend this book 100%!

Surprisingly Good

Abandoned by an Alpha, captivated me within the first few minutes of listing. The story is very intriguing and engages the listener with all the elements of mystery and unanswered questions. There is a need to know what happens next.

Freya has a great life and an amazing boyfriend. However, leading to her eighteenth birthday, her recurring nightmares grow worse and on the day of her graduation, her life changes forever.

It's following this even that the component of mystery hooks the reader/listener. You're waiting to see what is to be revealed next. Good vs bad is not black and white, but grey. Each team has an agenda. The many twist and turns take you on an unexpected journey.

The story has a pot of supernatural beings, werewolves, vampires, hunters and even angels. Despite the many different supernatural creatures, they all blend well within the plot.

Leanne Dillon, the author did a magnificent job with character building. They were realistic with relatable personalities. She is a great storyteller, incorporated humour, mystery, love, heartbreak, etc. The ending is unexpected, finishing with a cliffhanger, but that's what the second book is for.

Kas Nixon did an incredible job narrating this story. I hope she sticks around for the next installment. Overall, I recommend this audiobook.

A good listen

The narrator took a couple of chapters to get used to, once I did I really got into the story. I enjoyed the book and the characters. The story had me gripped and wanting more. I loved the fact I couldn't figure everything out beforehand. The only thing that I didn't like was that at every chapter it said "point of view" instead of just the name of the character. Other than that it was a good book.
