In my own life, I had the chance to explore different fields, earn a PhD in engineering, coauthor patents, and learn several languages. None of my achievements resulted from extraordinary talent. They came from simple decisions, habits, and approaches that anyone can follow.

This book is about helping you discover and use those same principles. Whether you’re a parent encouraging a love for learning in your children or someone who wants to explore your own potential, this book will show you practical steps to build skills and make connections across different areas of knowledge.

Becoming a polymath isn’t an impossible dream. It’s a way of life, and it’s something anyone can start.

Doubtful I will finish the book.

I'm only a few chapters in but I feel the need to submit a review now. Why? Because the author, despite the title seeming to be inclusive of any age group, mentions several times in the beginning chapters that these skills should be learned before the age of 21. It feels like the author is targeting a younger generation and makes it seem as though starting this process of learning diverse skills is out of reach for people older than 21. it's off putting and I don't know that I'll finish listening to the book because of this. If she was targeting such a select group she should have included that in the title.
