Practical and Relatable Reframing of ADHD

There are so many ADHD books out there - this one seems to be unique in that it's written by someone who actually has ADHD and she pairs her advice about strategies and tools that work for her and her partner with real world anecdotes about what situations and moments led her to find answers that worked for those situations. Alanna shares these helping skills and tools as a personal sort of mission, one I'm super grateful to her for taking on. The book is also written from the perspective that ADHD can be a superpower and not a burden, which I personally appreciate. Instead of feeling bad because there's something wrong with me, I can think about my brain like it's an under-appreciated and misunderstood powerhouse that will let me conquer the challenges in my life if I can just move certain obstacles out of the way. Very worth it and the narrator is great too!

I am encouraged after listening to the audiobook. The audiobook was very informative and insightful. It covers every aspect of life affected by ADHD. It offers actionable strategies for improving focus, time management, and organization, turning ADHD traits into strengths. The author's approach makes it relatable and motivating for a fulfilling life. It is a valuable resource. I especially like Chapter 7 about time management. The narration was excellent and easy to follow. I highly recommend it.
