This summer, Wildwood Cove is hosting a special event, Wild West Days, to celebrate the town's storied past. Wildwood Cove's museum is also getting a new lease on life thanks to a longtime resident's generous bequest. Several locals, including Marley McKinney-Collins, owner of the Flip Side pancake house, offer to transfer artifacts to the beautiful restored Victorian that will become the museum's home. But there's an unappetizing development when a volunteer, Jane Fassbinder, is found dead - bludgeoned with an antique clothes iron.

Marley can never resist a piping hot mystery, and this one seems especially intriguing. Jane had recently unearthed some love letters from the Jack of Diamonds, a notorious thief who plagued Wildwood Cove more than a century ago. As more locals meet with dangerous "accidents", it seems that someone is determined to keep that correspondence buried deep in the past. And unless Marley can sift through the likely suspects, she too could end up being nothing but history....

I just can’t get enough

I have bought so many credits, because I just can’t get enough of this mystery series. With a series like this it could go on forever and I would still listen to it. This one I guessed wrong on the killer, now it’s your turn to see if you can guess right, before Marly gets to the end and finds out who done it.

The end

I really hope there’s going to be a ninth book and even more after because I was hoping that she would be pregnant at the end of this book so I hope we don’t have to wait too long for another one

Karma Is Sweet Revenge

The story and narration were excellent. Another cozy mystery delight. I love how the past caught up with the future and the mystery was solved. I have to admit, I did not have a clue on who done the deed until the end.

Always A Pleasure

Marley (and the Sheriff, of course) have a double mystery on their hands. Murder, hit and run, assault, what is happening in Wildwood Cove? You will need to read it to find out, and get reacquainted with the delightful, sometimes eccentric, characters at the Flipside Pancake House and their extended families and friends.

Lovely

All the series are engaging in a non heavy, light way, even though they include murder and other gruesome subjects, the atmosphere of all the story is cozy, you grow attached to the main characters.
All in all a very good series of cozy mystery for me. They gave me an outlet from other heavy stories. Recommended

This little series grows on you! In a good way.

At first I was not sure about this series. I didn’t immediately fall in love with the characters and I was not sure I would continue. But little by little each story pulled me in and I found little things that made me smile, laugh or simply adore. I listened to all 8 books here audiobooks and I don’t regret it at all. I will even listen to future books in the series if there become available.

This continues to be a great series

I am so glad I found this series. It’s got everything. Romance, murder, intrigue, and of course food.

Very enjoyable characters

The setting and the characters grow throughout the series and I look forward to catching up with them in each new book. The murder mysteries are nicely plotted without too much anxiety creating situation, there is still tension and anticipation.

Wild West!

One again the story does not disappoint! Nicely done, intriguing suspenseful can’t figure it out until the very end when it’s been revealed!
