Good for beginners?

I bought this title because of a glowing review in the New Scientist but there's very little new information here and the telling is not unique either. If you've never read or listened to a book on neuropsychology before it will probably be great - if you've heard the marshmallow experiment too many times to count - probably not.

why would you get political

the obvious political overtone makes me mad he got some of my money. very disappointed.
