Too Erotic for My Taste

I didn’t see in the description or any of the reviews that there was physical pain with sex, as in slapping, etc. I personally would like it if that was mentioned. I’m aware that others enjoy it but it’s not for me.
Timothy Campbell did a fine job of narration especially with the Scottish accents.

Opposite of a slow burn 😅 but not my favorite Scottish romance story

This books started off fast and furious, but it didn't hold my interest as much as other Scottish romance novels I have read. Narration was okay but not my favorite for character voices.

I don't recommend this author. Too illicit for my taste.

The story and character development sound as if this was written by an amateur writer. It is also too illicit for my taste. I had to fast-forward through several sections. I won't purchase anymore of this author's books.

Dragged on and on

It has promise, but I feel like I was missing things from the beginning. I know there is another series before this, but considering this is the first book in this series I figured I could start here. I made it 80% and was bored and couldn’t finish it. Skipped ahead. There are some great moments, but constantly repeating things throughout made it drag and made me not want to finish it.

Tried but could not finish

I had high hopes, based on the title and the narrator. However, even one of my favorite narrators could not salvage this book. It was just one sex scene after another, with only a bit of story as a teaser. What a disappointment.

even with my favorite narrator's performance, I couldn't do it. I almost felt sorry for Timothy having to read such nonsense. don't use your credit unless you just want soft porn with no substance
