An excellent book - I thoroughly enjoy this series

The characters are well developed. They spring to life and feel like well known friends. The plot is intricate enough - not a worn formula. Ann Marie Piazza is an outstanding narrator.

thrilling read

I truly enjoyed this one. There were thrills, action, and excitement throughout. When Daniel is sent into a dangerous situation undercover, Kat , despite being warned to stay away, doesn't shy away from seeing that he is protected. Kat puts her life on the line to protect Daniel and help solve a case of blackmail closely tied to Daniel's case. What I loved most though, was the fact that the pair finally confess their love for each other. Somehow this read as if this might be the last book in the series and I desperately hope it is not.
