Saving the farm and their families.
Tarek is an orphan who has spent his youth trying to wrangle his siblings. It’s a hard job, but he’s desperate to make a better life for them - even if it’s at the cost of his own happiness. But when a local farm owner catches his eye, Tarek is soon fighting for his identity against his obligations.
Jeffery always stood in his father’s shadow, until the day that shade was no longer cast. Left with just his mom, he’s trying to manage the farm in a way that would make his father proud. It’s not until a newcomer needing a goat steps into his life that he sees a light at the end of the tunnel.
With so much on the line, will Jeffery and Tarek take advantage of the unspoken spark between them? Or will it fade beneath the demands of their efforts for others?

Good story - poor audio edits

I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of emotion that the author was able to get across in such a limited amount of words. It was frustrating to witness the MC's working so hard to care for the people in their lives with little to no regard to their own happiness.

Would I listen to it again: yes
Good story with real life issues, good pace, and entertaining characters. I would have liked this one to be longer, Peter Styles writes a wonderful story of two men with so much on the line finding their way to what really matters.
Harrison Richards is a new narrator for me, I found him easy to listen to and he enhanced the audio experience.
There are a couple of duplicate phrases in the audio that need editing out, but weren't enough to pull me from of the story.
enjoyable - if short

A good story of how religious beliefs affect the lives of different people. A loving family can go a long way as in the story of Jeffrey and Tarek. Filled with a little danger and angst – a story to read.
I think the narration would have been perfect if not for the repeating of phrases and glitches in the reading of the story.
