Story
The King of the Wild Hunt has been safely returned to his throne at Castle Tor, but the hunt for his assailant is far from over. Jinx Ap Nudd didn’t think anything could be as bad as leaving her old life behind. She was wrong. Accusing your sister-in-law, heir to the bordering Redcap Kingdom, of treason is so much worse. She’d did it for a good cause...even if her family can’t understand her reasoning just yet.

I’m Morgana Silk and I'm a hybrid. Daughter of the Fae Storm King, my mother's witch family has wanted me dead since I killed her in childbirth. Fun. Right? Yeah. Until one day, I wake up with a dead body in my bed, and find myself framed for the murder of a highly respected alpha. Grayson Xenos is tailing me. He's as handsome as his jaguar is deadly, and I certainly didn't expect him to have my back.

For a decade, I’ve hated the supernaturals who owned my world. I hunted them. I killed them. And now, in the most grand twist of fate - I am bonded to one of them. Oh, the irony. Being a supernatural bounty hunter isn’t exactly a popular job. But after the magic wars, there aren’t many things a human can do that will put food on the table. Thankfully, anything my right hook can’t handle, my guns can. Or so I thought.

There’s only one thing you really need to know about the world I come from: The witch council is as archaic and backward in their ways as they are powerful. So, when they arrange for me to marry the most powerful warlock in the world so that I can give them magic babies, I do what any sensible 24-year old would do. I run. Or, at least, I try to. It’s never a good combo to be broke and desperate. You do stupid things. Like accidentally sign your soul over to hell. When I interviewed for a new security job, I didn’t bat an eye that it was for a literal graveyard shift...headstones and all. I mean, at the hourly rate they were offering, who cares? I got this. When my best friend and the only person who knows who - and what - I really am gets selected for the Mating Games, I know the only way to save her is to try and win her for myself. All I need to do is navigate three trials while not letting anyone know I'm a woman, or, and this might be even more important, that I have magic. Easy, right? Easier than slaving away for all hours of the day swinging an ax in the mines. Or so I thought. I certainly didn't count on the one man I've longed for, the one man who stirs feelings of femininity and desire within me, to enter the games as well.

Publisher's Summary
There are only two ways you leave the Wild Hunt: You die, or you’re too old to get the job done.
That was until Jinx up and left without an explanation. For the last five years, she’s lived in the human world, chasing down rogue supernaturals and filling in on occasion at the bar beneath her apartment to make ends meet.
All of that changes the day her little sister shows up on her doorstep.
The King of the Wild Hunt has been taken, and not even the greatest of hunters can find him.
Left with no other choice but to help, Jinx returns home to a kingdom that thinks she abandoned them. And if that’s not bad enough, she has to work with the insufferably attractive Draven Hellguard to find her father.
After being gone for so long, she can’t help but feel like unseen things are happening at Castle Tor. Unsure who she can trust and who’s out to destroy her family, Jinx is only sure about one thing.
Whoever did this is going to pay, and she won’t stop until they do.

A Fae Series!
This was my first Graceley Knox's book. This is the first book in the Tales of the Wild Hunt, a Fae Series. The characters are great, and the world building is complex, original, and entertaining. Jinx's hunt is intricate and captivating. The story ends with a cliffhanger. Elle Sonali did a good job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

The Hunt is On !
This book follows Jinx as she returns home to find her father . A lot of citizens have nothing but contempt for her but Jinx is o a mission ! She is a strong heroine and I love her snark . The relationship she has with her bff is endearing . I am looking forward to the next book in this series . Sonali's voice did justice to Jinx .

Promising start to series!
A promising start to this paranormal series! From the start I knew Jinx was going to be a kickass heroine. She’s strong and witty and I loved how she can hold her own and tease right back with the male characters. But just when I thought the book would continue with more action, the pace slowed down as Jinx returned home to help with the search for her father. The storyline remained intriguing as we discovered the reason why Jinx left and the intricate politics of the Fae court, leading to lots of drama and mystery among the characters. Ending with a cliffhanger, I hope there will be lots more action in the coming installments as Jinx finds her place back in the Wild Hunt. I really enjoyed the narration by Elle Sonali. She captured the essence of Jinx with a strong yet sassy personality, and it was very easy to follow through the story with all the secondary voices as well.

Sucked me in!
This audiobook really sucked me in. It's the first book I have ready by Knox and I am already onto reading more of hers because I liked this one so much. The main character is one badass woman. Her other characters are funny and full. I really felt I was inside the world she had built for the reader. Draven also added a whole new layer to the storyline. Couldn't put it down. Can't hardly wait for audiobook #2!!! Excellent narrator, new to me, but real enjoyable.

Love the story. Okay Narrator.
I really loved this book! Oh my god Graceley definitely knows how to keep you hooked on a story! I loved the plot of this book, I loved the characters Jinx, Draven, Kap they kept me so entertained! I love how we were introduced to this world and it was just great! I don't like cliff hangers though, like why leave me hanging? I really liked Jinx's relationship with her brother.
Although Jinx and Draven. Man them two. Draven is such a smooth talker and I got to admit he knows how to seduce that's for sure...
So onto the narration, I really struggled with this at first. I found the narrator was really hard to get into it and it just sounded weird. I felt like sometimes she was very awkward but then overtimes she captured Jinx perfectly and I just really struggled with the narrator. But once I got used to the narrator I really enjoyed it!
