Publisher's summary

After The Gatherings cult leader, Matthew, fails to rally the public against the gryphons, he attracts unwanted attention. Desperate to avoid public scrutiny, he searches for ways to make Thyra’s and Johnathen’s life miserable. While Thyra excels in her new Gryphball team, Matthew puts plans into action to resurrect a ghost from her past to haunt her, but his rashness may spell his downfall. He's determined to rid the city of these "Gryphon abominations" and burn all in his path to accomplish his objective.

You Can't Run from the Past

Bizzell has done it again in this action packed sequel! As Thyra and the Redtails play to make the 1st league in gryphball, Matthew schemes to bring her and Johnathen down once and for all. But he has sorely underestimated his choice of co-co-conspirators. These new characters are wonderfully fleshed out and are still sticking in my heart.
As is classic with this series we also explore the themes of ethics, particularly the ethics surrounding the creation of the gryphon race. However, we also receive a hint of an answer as to how our feathered friends came to be.
And Spaid brings all of this to life with his narration! A must have for any lover of gryphons and fantasy!
