To new beginnings / New Dawn

This series is definitely a must read/listen. The author has a wonderful way of spinning a amazing storyline. The plot is very believable with a lot of twists and turns. (If this happened in real life I don’t think most of us will survive.) This book is so great that it leaves me wanting more. I hope this series will continue! I would love to listen to what happen in the New World.
I narrator does an excellent job with the characters, which makes them come alive. The way he narrator’s make the emotions feel as though you are experiencing them yourself. I have listen to numerous amounts of narrators and have my favorites of course and J. Scott Bennett is definitely on the top of my list.

Allison where did you go in this book

This book was pretty short and Allison did not play much of a role in it. None the less, the story was pretty good but I felt as though the author just quit writing at the end. Was disappointed. This has been such a great series to have it end so abruptly. The narrator is very good and does the book justice.

Excellent end to an excellent series

From Book 1 to Book 3 I was hooked. The story telling, the characters, the information all had me hooked. I may have to order the paperbacks just to have some of that information (recipes, essential oils and herbs, prepping advice) all at hand! I loved how the community came together and worked to make a bad situation livable.
Scott Bennett continues excellent narration throughout the series. I love the characters and how their personality is brought out by Scott. One thing that is very important to me is that the narrator tell the story and not just 'read' it to me. Scott does that and does it well. He makes me believe he was right there living the story.
I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

Great ending to the series

This is a great ending to the Post Apocalyptic Woman series. I loved the progression of the books, the rural setting, the herbalism and how the characters and community all came together, combining their talents, learning and teaching skills and working together towards the common goal of survival. In this last book they have to contend with a cruel self-appointed President who wants to rule the area with an iron fist. The narrator does an excellent job of giving the characters individual voices, showing the tension and emotion and bringing the story to life. This book has lots of thrilling action, great relationships and a satisfying ending. I will look forward to the spin-off from this series.

Excellent

I absolutely enjoywd the book. The narrator's change in tone for characters made it even better. I also enjoyed the fact that the author incorporated other points of view on situations. Thank you for a very well written series.

Stunning

This is the third book in the series. In this story the people have decisions to make as they encounter a new danger in the form of a rogue warlord who had declared himself president and intends to isolate and control all of the people for his own agenda.

There are new relationships formed and some progress in recovery and some setbacks as well. This book is well written and goes into great detail about how to preserve and survive without modern conveniences such as electricity an advanced infrastructure. A really enjoyable book. While this is the third book it is hoped that it will not be the last we see of this universe by this author.

The narration as usual was excellent with the many characters done well.

This book was provided free of charge with the expectation of an honest review.

Wonderfully written

I loved this series so much that I finished it in less than 4 days. The story was excellent and had plenty of suspense. The perfect balance of despair and hope. It was even educational. I'm not sure why, but I had a hard time with the narrator at first, but got through it by the 2nd chapter. He was a good narrator and performed well, just a little rough at first. If you're looking for a less sexist/grimy version of apocalyptic stories, yet still realistic and believable, this is your book! Loved it. Wonderful read and grateful to the writer and narrator for the experience. <3
