Publisher's summary

An all new production, newly narrated in November, 2023, by award-winning actor and voice talent, Andrew Totolos.

A Nefarious Plot is the book that inspired the hit film, NEFARIOUS.

Republican vs. Democrat.

The Haves vs. the Have Nots.

Left vs. Right.

Us vs. Them.

We believe these are the divisions that are threatening to tear America apart. But what if the culprit isn't a political ideology or a class of people but a puppet master? He's been manipulating us for centuries–and now he’s brought us to the brink of implosion.

It would take a special kind of sinister to hatch such a nefarious plot against our civilization. Who, or what, would be capable of such a conspiracy? All there is to go on is the cryptic message:

You’ll never guess my name.

Where was this story in Sunday School?

This book was exactly what I needed. I’ve always had so many questions about the Bible, creation, how/why.. if God knows all, then how did he let the Devil exist? Why did he create man, just to destroy us at times? Why do we go through the things we do in life? Why & How are we as a country, letting all these terrible and stupid ideas and beliefs become normal, while the idea of God is shunned?
This book will answer all of those questions. Great job! I needed to hear it all.
Also, here’s something mentioned, that I loved, if ever confronted by Atheists.. “In our souls, we have a void from when we were separated from God. That’s why cultures throughout time have always worshipped something. Why do non believers, other cultures, atheists take Gods name in vain? Why do ppl say “G-d Dam”? Why not say Buddha Damn? Confucius dam? Etc? When in death we are judged, there is no excuse of “I didn’t know”, especially if you blasphemed.

Wonderful Book

This book is a manifesto written from the pov of a demon. The book is brilliant as it lays out the devils plans to destroy God’s greatest creation…humans. A must listen!!

A Dark and Twisted Road

Starting off by rehashing (and practically straight up re-writing the introduction to) the Screwtape Letters, Steve quickly transitions into a protracted version of Paul Harvey's "If I were the Devil." and updates both. Bringing such diabolical classics into a modern day, modern America context. Steve clearly "gets it" and sees and calls out what is happening in the world "today" almost in a prophetic manner considering this book as originally written some time after Avengers (1) and it is just about as fresh as if it were writen last night,
The narrator of this audio version is fantasic and gets full marks from me. Def worth your time and money/ credit.

Truth

All I could keep saying to myself this is all so true and the world is so blind. I wish every clergymen out there would hear this book to remind them of what’s going on behind the closed doors.

Much like the movie but much more detailed

Is it fiction or reality? Can you afford to write this book off or does this viewpoint provide an accurate representation of our status with God? Hope not!

Not what I was expecting

I purchased this audiobook because I liked the movie and wanted more. Turns out the book is nothing like the movie. It is the demon’s book mentioned in the movie. His story started off good, but then it became highly political and Christian religious. If it was truly written by a demon, he would have talked about all people, all countries, and all religions. Not just American people, American politics, and Christianity. So this book is mainly a right wingers guide, more or less.

A wake up call

I recommend everyone listen to this book. Many might think this is fiction, many will scoff and turn it off, but some will listen to the end and understand. Humanity is going to get a wake up call. Those who scoff will not survive. Put simply, this is a black and white review of what is write and wrong. Which side are you on?

Profoundly Disappointing

I found this “novel” through the film ‘Nefarious’ (2023). I enjoyed the film, suggested it to some friends who are also fans of the genre.. will not be doing the same with the book. The reader is fantastic and did well with the material he had to work with. The “novel” however is nothing but right-wing christofacist drivel. I made it as far as chapter three before I just couldn’t take anymore. First audiobook I’ll ever be returning.
