A High-Stakes Battle for Every Christian

Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, "Take heed that no one deceives you" (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become an increasingly challenging task—even in the church.

We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid.

Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and how you can discern the difference. From pastor Jack Hibbs, you'll learn the characteristics of deceivers and how they have brought harm to both secular culture and the church; the many deceptions that are altering and replacing the truth, and how to recognize them; and the keys to standing strong as the spiritual battles surrounding us intensify.

The greatest antidote to deception is truth. Equip yourself now to grow in discernment so that you can protect yourself from error and remain steadfast in your faith!

Almost unbearable to listen to. Pacing and intonation of the reader almost made me return the book despite the excellent content. Ended up speeding it up to eliminate the dramatic pauses to some degree and suffered through it. I am sure I missed some of the content as a result.

Jack, please read your own book next time.

Jack Hibbs is a great teacher and pastor. His book is relevant, timely and important to today’s believers. Unfortunately, the delivery of the material did not reflect Jack’s style or material. The breathy, over dramatized delivery was annoying and completely distracted from the content. Very unfortunate.

Great subject matter, not so great delivery.

Really enjoyed the truth of the book and nothing personal against the narrator, but I did not like his voice. That probably sounds petty. I don’t mean it to be, just sometimes when you have a narrator it’s almost like you hear the writer speaking you don’t get that in this.

Solid truth spoken

Pastor Jack Hibbs delivers a riveting series of messages about living victoriously without being dazed and confused. I highly recommend this book.

I had a hard time listening to the reader. It was much to sing-songy in the way he spoke. The Contant was very good and informative, that’s what kept me going.
