But as the two of them brave the onslaught of shocked and suspicious family members, they find themselves growing closer. Really good

I liked that the storyline was different from most others that are so common. It was never boring. There was a small amount of angst with the miscommunication but it was minimal and bearable. Thankfully it wasn’t an instant love and she wasn’t annoying at all like so many others can be. The narrator was absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely look for other books by this author.

Great story!!!

Strong hero, stronger heroine, smart and lovely!! Crazy, messy family drama that got me laughing. I could not stop listen to that book for a moment. I Definitely recommend it. It stand along on its own but I recommend listening to the first book, a perfect gentleman.

One of my all-time favorites by any author

I have read many of Candace Camp’s books, but this is my favorite. In fact it is one of about 30 books I have purchased on Audible that I like to read again and again. Whenever I can’t find a book worthy of a credit (too often), I go to one of my favorites. Whenever I listen again I always find something I missed previously!! It’s awesome! Some of my favorite authors are: Nora Roberts, Mary Balogh, Sandra Brown, Julie Garwood, and Jayne Ann Krentz.
They are all amazing authors and I always look for their new works, hoping to find another favorite!❤️

Loved everything about this story..

This story was great start to finish. It got better with each page. I absolutely adored this couple and didn’t want to end. The witty banter between the two was so cheeky and a laugh out loud funny at times. Now I understand the reviews!

Nice intro to a new-to-me author

A Momentary Marriage is everything a good historical should be: a solid sense of place and time, truly interesting characters, an exciting plot (in this case with a healthy dose of suspense), and a delicious resolution. I'm so glad Candace Camp's work crossed my radar. In terms of narration, though, I have enjoyed Gildart Jackson's work narrating other books, but in this one, his voicing of the hero is particularly grating. I had to continually divorce my ears from my brain and try to process the story without hearing the hero's voice. I listen to enough audio that I've gained experience doing so, but a novice or impatient listener might be turned off and miss a good story.

Unique plot

Excellent narration and very engaging characters. The plot was quite unique and I learned quite a bit about an interesting subject. I love stories that give me insight into new subjects

Great Candace Camp book

I really like this author I've never been disappointed in her books. This was another hit for her. The book is a romance with a mystery in it. I love books like that.

Best in a long time

I’ve loved Candace Campaign since the 1980a, when she wrote under Lisa Gregory. This is as good as Light and Shadow and Swept Away which I wish she’d rerelease as well as several other true favorites of all time

Loved this book. A great romantic story, with great characters, with an unpredictable happy ending. A great 5 star story.
