love vs brother

This wss a real love story. Childhood friends then later reunited. Her brother warns him off.
Gabriel must show the brother he's worthy and not a take. Will he win them over? This was an enjoyable love story

An Easy Listen

A simple, low-key romance with a light touch of drama. It’s an easy, straightforward read with a mellow pace, and while it didn’t fully sweep me away, it was still pleasant enough to follow along.

Perfect story that grabbed my attention

Amanda Mariel is one of those authors I can't believe I have missed out on. And, Wow! What a way to get introduced. She is a very talented storyteller.
In this story we met Gabriel and Eden, childhood friends. He is her brother's best friend and has a bit of a bad reputation. Now he has had to return to England when his father passed, and now he has many responsibilities.
Eden is a high-spirited country girl, and the daughter of an Earl. She hasn't forgotten her crush, Gabriel, who has been gone for years. Now with his return feelings are ignited again.
Even though her brother makes Gabriel promise to stay clear of her neither one of them can resist the connection there have
and how much they are drawn to each other. Hidden moments, stolen kisses and passion they can't ignore makes life complicated for them both. Hard choices between loyalty and friendship to passion and love, they don't
know what to do. Can love find a way ??
The narrator did an outstanding job of creating a visual of the story for me. Her voice was a perfect match to this passionate story. She really grabs you from the start, just like the author did with the story itself. You will love this historical Romance.
It's packed with everything we love and more; second chances and forbidden love with hard life changing choices between duty, honor, friendship & love. Trust me you won't be able to stop listening. Intrigue, loyalty, drama, family loyalty, twist & turns and don’t forget the wonderful passion & spice. All together creates an outstanding story worth listening to, and reading. So well written with characters that grab your heart and backstory that creates the perfect start for this unforgettable story. You will want to find out every detail on your own.

lovely

A lovely story by an established and creative writer. It's filled with love lost, second chances, family issues, honor, duty, drama and some steam. What more could you ask for! Well paced and fully entertaining. Great narrator, easy to follow and entertaining.

Rendezvous

This is Eden and Gabriel's story. Gabriel comes back for his fathers funeral and estate. Gabriel is Eden's brothers best friend. She has loved him from a distance, but now that he is back what will she do? What will happen when their feelings get in the way? Will love win or lose?.

Victorian Regency

A Midsummer Night’s Rendezvous by Amanda Mariel is a wonderful historical Victorian regency fantasy. Charlie Alber did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, romantic, interesting, enjoyable, and more. A Midsummer Night’s Rendezvous is the first book in Courting Ruin series.
