To flat

The story line was okay. You have two boys that are looking for a Daddy. One in my opinion is whiny and the other one is trying too hard to please. The narration is flat.

Loved it

I loved this book. James Talbot's voice really brings this story to life. Blaine and Davie are living in a motel and barely making ends meet. Blaine and Davie see a poster for a Christmas mixer for Daddies and Boys. The mixer lasts five days and has lots of fun things will take place. They would both like to go but cant afford a way to get there. Blaine calls the number and arrangements are made for them to go. Blaine wants and hopes they will each find a Daddy. He really wants Daddy Jacob and Davie wants Daddy Jacob's friend to be his Daddy. A few things happen that can stand in their way of happiness. Will they overcome both the odds and a secret to find happiness?

Very Sweet Story

I enjoyed this sweet Daddy/boy holiday story. Loved the main charactets as well ss the secondaty charactets.

Tho the narrayor did an excellent job, I felt his vouce was too mature given the age of the charactets.

a sweet daddy/little holiday story

A Little Christmas! Blaine's Secret is part of the multi-author A Little Christmas: Season Two series. This is the sweetest story as Blaine and his best friend Davie are invited to attend an invitation only Christmas party for 10 daddies looking for boys and 10 boys looking for daddies. Blaine and Davie are in need of daddies and this party is just perfect for them. I enjoyed learning about Blaine and Davie's upbringing and how that made them want to stay close to each other even after finding their forever daddies. I definitely recommend this book and series. 

Narrator James Talbot does a fabulous job. I really enjoyed listening to him. He is a natural storyteller.

Make the Call

This is a sweet story that features not one but two couples. Best friends are looking for boys at the same time two friends are looking for daddies. It is a perfect match. This story also features some surprises. This story is a very special story of four men getting just what they need. I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

Fairy tale: Loving protector found

Plot enjoyable but predictable.
Narrator voice too elementary school teacher ands little too slow. However, not a bad way to spend time listening.
