It will scare you to death!

First I have to start off with saying that this book was given to me for free to read and to leave a review, this does not affect my perception nor my review of the book at all, as I am always truthful and honest in my reviews.

I had not heard about Mike Omer before getting this book, but you can guarantee that I will follow him religiously from now on.

Brittany Pressley did an amazing job of performing this book and she creates the fear, the horror, and the sheer emotion that the writer wanted the reader to feel.

This was a great overall book. The characters, place, scenarios all connected and it was a great story.

couldn't stop listening

I don't write many reviews even though I consume 2-3 audiobooks a month but I had to say something about this one. First the narrator, excellent performance (I think I'm in love). Delivers the perfect tone for the characters. Second, the story. Very engaging as you're solving the puzzle along with them. This was highly entertaining and looking forward to another book from Mike Omer and of course will be looking out for more listening pleasures from my new love, Brittany Presley.

Pretty Good. *Spoiler Alert*

This story kept me listening, although I found myself rolling my eyes with exasperation more than once. The main character refusing to tell her partner or superiors crucial information she has first hand knowledge of, is utterly ridiculous. Also, the stereotypical actions of the superiors not believing their more highly educated, qualified and experienced underlings is pretty maddening. The narration is OK. Not great, but not the worst I’ve heard, although the main character is supposed to be from Massachusetts and the narrator seems to forget that. Her bad Boston accent goes in and out, and usually feels like a forced afterthought when it is there. It was a little annoying but not completely distracting. All in all, it was ok. Not great, but pretty OK. I would listen to more from Dick Omer.

Wow! Just wow!

I typically don’t read thrillers. But I’ve heard of this author and knew he was a good writer so I decided to give this genre a try. Mercy!! It was so good and exceptionally well written. Keep you stranded on the edge until the very end. I cannot wait to get my hands on book two.

When I write review< I do not want to give anything away. Any book that gets and keeps my attention is great.
This one did so, I finished with no hesitation.the narration of different characters was great!

Amazing Storytelling

This was an awesome story. I found it nearly impossible to put down and the narration was great as well.

Glad this is a series

I liked the story line It took me a bit to get into it, but then I was anxious to see how it would unfold

Great story

Great story. I really enjoyed how the author actually brought me inside the mind of the killer and of the psychologist profiling him. The end was unexpected and had a twist that makes me want to read the next book in this set.

Killer Killer Thriller

Love finding a new great author - bonus a great author who has already written a lot, it looks like, and this story is the first in a series! I’m anxious to read more of Omer. Loved the style of this story. Twisted stuff here for the uninitiated, but not too graphic to be unpalatable. Excellent narration. I loved the Massachusetts accent. I have no idea if it was authentic sounding but there were distinct variations in regional accents and male-female tones, cadences etc. Just an excellent listen all around. I’ll be spending a credit on the next in series momentarily...

Thrilling Book

A very good story and well developed characters. The story had many levels to it and characters in the book that were easy to enjoy. I really liked this story and will look for other books by Mike Omer.
