I love Chet and Bernie

What did you love best about A Fistful of Collars?

I have 5 Dachsunds nad they talk to me all the time. Chet's voice is familiar

Another great Bernie and Chet book!

I can't imagine ever tiring of Bernie and Chet books. This one had lots of twists and turns, as usual. I think this may have been the first one where Chet and Bernie didn't get separated and I enjoyed that because I think it's more entertaining when they are together (too stressful for me when they are apart :). Dog lovers who don't read this series don't know what they are missing! I recommend the Spencer Quinn series, but the audible books of them are even better! Quinn and Frangione both have their finger on the pulse of a dog's inner thoughts if you ask me.

This series remains cute and funny, even in the face of some of Chet's limited and almost over-used catch phrases. Just when I think it's going to be too much I find myself chuckling. I'm a soft touch when it comes to Chet, I guess.

The narrator is just wonderful.

Would you listen to A Fistful of Collars again? Why?

Yes, because Chet and Bernie are my buddies and I love to revisit old friends.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Chet - always Chet. He give me insight into my dogs brain.

Which character – as performed by Jim Frangione – was your favorite?

Although I adore Chet, its always fun to hear Bernie calling, "Che---et!"
