Nadia and Griffin

I love Sebastian York. CJ Bloom isn't in my favorites list, but she does a good job.

Okay, if you haven't started reading Elsie Silver's books yet, you are MISSING OUT on some fabulous work.

Griffin. Broody former NFL superstar, career ending injury, life choices that almost destroyed him. Refuses to get help with the issues that are weighing him down, crushing his heart & soul.

Nadia. 14 years younger. His best friend's little sister. Grew up with privilege, but mostly with an abusive father and a mother who lost everything and just didn't care or have the inner strength to overcome any of it.

She escaped when she came of age - and set out to prove she was better, could do better, and that she'd never give up her soul or the life she visualized for any man. Not that she wasn't hoping for true love, a family, a happy ever after - because she was. She just wasn't going to sacrifice her soul in the process.

I could read the first chapter over and over and over again. When she says "Again" to Griffin, I feel it completely. That single word is so compelling. She doesn't get the 'again' in that moment, but it sets the tone for the relationship that follows.

They realize what a difficult road is laid out in front of them, but they also know that it will be worth the climb, worth the fight.

I love all the MMCs in all of Elsie's books, but Griffin might be my favorite. Or Stefan.

Loved this book!!!

Overall, it’s my favorite of the series. It’s just a great story! The way Nadia and Griffin both need each other is so heartwarming.

Fave Elsie Silver Story

I really liked the depth and slow burn to this story. The flaws and character arcs were beautiful. There were so many layers to this story I really enjoyed it. The narrators did an amazing job.

super cute story

this was sweet. not my favorite of the series but I still liked it. it seemed out of place maybe because you didn't get much Griffin in the previous books but I did like this couple. I liked how they worked on themselves in order to be better together. very healthy.

I love the characters in this one. They were my favorite and so relatable to real life.
